Introducing City of Ocean Shores Mayor Jon Martin

The City of Ocean Shores is pleased to announce that Councilmember/Mayor Pro Tem Jon Martin was selected by council and sworn in as our new Mayor during the November 22, 2021 Regular City Council meeting.

Mayor Martin has lived in Ocean Shores for 13 years with his very supportive wife Kim and a Dog Nikita the Akita. He graduated from Western Washington University.

Mayor Martin has served as councilmember and Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Ocean Shores this past 6 years. He has been an active member of the Finance Committee, Public Works Committee and Legislative Liaison.

Mayor Martin brings his knowledge as a current PUD Commissioner District 3. He is the Vice Chair for Greater Grays Harbor and a member of the Grays Harbor Solid Waste Committee.

He has accomplished putting into place the City Financial Guidelines, securing funding for the High Dune Trail, creating Transportation District, and funding work on our Roadways.
