Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
The LTAC has five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. They serve two-year terms. One member is from the City Council and serves as chair, two members are from businesses required to collect the Lodging Tax, and two are from organizations which may be funded from the Lodging Tax. The City sets the amount available from the Lodging Tax pool and may call for written proposals. Proposals may be submitted to the City Clerk between September 1 - 14 (or the following Monday if the 14th falls on a weekend) or, in case of an unexpected problem or emergency, anytime. The LTAC then meets and makes recommendations to the City Council. Membership shall be reviewed annually by the Mayor. Meets as necessary.
