Whether you're a history buff or simply enjoy Pacific Northwest scenery at its best, the City of Ocean Shores has a little something for everyone. Ocean Shores was incorporated on November 3, 1970. As we approach the City’s 50th anniversary, we reflect on everything Ocean Shores has to offer. Ocean Shores is known as a small charming coastal community with an abundance of recreational and cultural activities. It is also surrounded by miles of sandy beaches on the Pacific Ocean as well as Grays Harbor. Its 23 miles of inter-connected canals and lakes charm you with their breathtaking views. Ocean Shores represents a strong community constantly working together to achieve goals for our citizens, businesses and visitors. The community of 6,490 people are represented by seven elected Council members and an elected Mayor, consistently working towards a better tomorrow. Within the City, the 29,900 square foot convention center accommodates groups of all sizes, from a get-together of 30 to a conference of 1,000 people,  complete with state-of-the-art communications and audio/visual equipment.  Our restaurants offer international and coastal cuisine, and the twenty-three hotels offer a variety of experiences from condo-style amenities to big city style in-house restaurants, complimentary breakfasts and more. The shopping and evening entertainment are amazing. It makes for an amazing event atmosphere. Visit us and find out why we are one of Washington's favorite communities for everything from golfing to go-carts, electric boat rentals, bike and moped rentals, and putt-putt golf, and rides for the kids, to enjoying nature while paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, relaxing on the beach, and bird-watching. But most of all, we’re known for community.
