In Memory of Jennifer Hugo

It is with great sadness and sorrow that I let you know our beloved Municipal Court Clerk  Jennifer Hugo passed away late Wednesday evening.

Jennifer began working for the City of Ocean Shores in 1998 as a Police Records Clerk. A few years later, she became the Court Administrator for the Ocean Shores Municipal Court. She served in that position for over 16 years. Her knowledge of the court system was indispensable to the Judge, attorneys, law enforcement officers, and defendants. She was known for how caring she was to those involved in the court system and would work tirelessly to help defendants navigate the system.

Jennifer was born in Kent, Washington and lived all over the Pacific Northwest – Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.  Before arriving in Ocean Shores, she operated small businesses, worked for Boeing, was a King County Dispatcher, and worked for the Alaska State Troopers.

She is survived by her husband Bob, sisters Jill and Kerry, brother Scott, and many nieces and nephews.

We will forever be grateful for the contribution and impact Jennifer made in the City of Ocean Shores. Her happiness and caring attitude will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ocean Shores Police Association.
