 2022 – 2027 SIX YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Ocean Shores City Council on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. via remote meeting to receive public comment on the proposed 2022-2027 Six Year Transportation Improvement Program. For further information, contact Nick Bird, Public Works Director, at 360.940.7542 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Council is providing opportunities for public comments, by submitting written comments to the City Clerk's office via email at publiccomment@osgov.com or submitting the New Public Comment Form at www.osgov.com no later than 12:00 noon on May 24, 2021. These comments will be distributed to Council on the day of the meeting and will be linked to the agenda on the following business day. A citizen may choose to read their own submitted comment by marking this option on the new public comment form. Citizens will receive an email verification and Zoom access information with a disclaimer.

SUMMARY/BACKGROUND: 
The Six Year Transportation Improvement Program is an annual update of proposed transportation projects over the next six years.  In accordance with RCW 35.77.010, a public hearing is required prior to adoption of the transportation program.  The public hearing is intended to receive public comment on project prioritization. 

Adoption by Resolution of the transportation program is statutorily required prior to July 1.  The Resolution for adoption is provided for Council discussion and consideration based on the information gained during the public hearing.
