Temporary Position, 05/01/21 thru 08/31/21
Salary $15 per hour

The City of Ocean Shores is accepting applications for temporary Seasonal Workers. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting in the construction, installation, and repair or maintenance work of any City department; performing landscaping activities; performing surface prep and conduct interior and
exterior painting of structures; performing litter control duties; as directed, control traffic at work sites; and all other duties as assigned.
Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to the City’s insurance carrier. Requires successful completion of City provided safety training activities, as well as successful completion of City provided Washington Traffic Control (Flagger)
Certification. Individuals assigned to this classification are expected to have the mechanical skills and abilities as well as manual dexterity necessary to perform the general manual labor required. Individuals will work with more experienced employees but may be expected to work independently to perform
relatively routine and well-known tasks. This position will work in highly visible areas involving frequent interaction with the public, requiring positive and proactive communication and customer service skills.
