Shop with a Cop happening December 21st
Shop With A Cop is always a very special event and it is an honor for the Ocean Shores Police Department to be involved. The officers find joy in putting smiles on the faces of the kids who are selected to participate each Christmas season. Normally, on the day of the event, officers would start by eating breakfast with the kids, then getting a photo with Santa before loading the kids up into patrol cars and parading them though Aberdeen to Walmart where they shop with them.
But, due to COVID restrictions, officers are unable to take part in the event this year.
BUT, we were able to modify the event so the kids don’t miss out. Our cars will be leaving the OSPD parking lot at 1 PM on Monday, December 21st, to parade around town delivering gifts to the children who had been pre-selected to participate in this years event.
