Meal Delivery Program to Resume August 3, 2020

As the COVID19 situation evolves daily, and the Governor is making adjustments to the Safe Start phases in Washington State, the City of Ocean Shores realizes that many of the residents have concerns about going out.  Beginning Monday, August 3rd, the city along with the Certified Emergency Response Team, will once again offer meal delivery weekdays to residents in need.  In making the decision to resume this effort the Mayor of Ocean Shores, Crystal Dingler, took into account the increase of cases both county and state-wide and the concern that causes many of the elderly and compromised population of the city.

The meals will be prepared at the Ocean Shores Convention Center and distributed by the CERT team just as they were when the program began in March.  Residents are able to receive one meal per day per person in the household.  Beginning Monday, July 27th, the Convention Center will begin calling the residents who participated previously to see if they are still in need.

For additional information, or if you want to utilize this service and were not on the previous list,  please feel free to contact the Convention Center General Manager, Diane Solem, at dsolem@osgov.com.
