City Council Passed Resolution to Acknowledge and Support Essential Workers
On March 23, 2020 Governor Inslee issued a "Stay Home" order which restricted public and private activities to those determined to be essential and workers designated to be essential include those who provide healthcare, public safety, transportation, utilities, food and other necessary goods and services.
Many essential workers have served the residents of Ocean Shores during this pandemic and day after day essential worker risk their own well-being so that the rest of us are able to continue accessing the things we need. These are the people who make it possible for the rest of us to stay home and stay healthy.
It is important to recognize the courage, dedication and commitment of essential works during the COVID-10 pandemic.
The City Council of the City of Ocean Shores passed a Resolution on the 13th day of July 2020 to recognize essential workers.
