Water Use Efficiency Reports
Each year the City Water Department compiles a Water Use Efficiency Report that is submitted to the Washington State Department of Health (DOH). This report documents the total amount of water produced by the City and the percentage of water that is unaccounted for or lost, commonly referred to a Distribution System Leakage (DSL). The DSL rate for the last three years has been consistently around 13% with a goal of being under 10%, per the most recent Water System Plan Update and to stay within compliance of WAC 246-290-820.
