Education: Associate degree – El Paso Community College; Bachelor of Science degree – Park University.

Work Experience: Retired from active Army with 24 years of service, self-employed computer consultant and programmer. Emergency medical technician for the city of El Paso, Texas; assistant manager for Friday Harbor Fitness Center, yard care technician, general purpose handyman, massage therapist, Planning Commissioner for Ocean Shores, trustee for the Ocean Shores Fresh Waterways corporation.

Personal: Grew up in Seattle, Wa.  Graduated from Ingraham High School in Seattle. Joined the army on 14 Feb 1966, retired from the army March 1990. Moved back to the Puget Sound area and lived on a sailboat - mostly in Friday Harbor - for 10 years. Met my wife Alex while social dancing in Seattle; together we decided to move to Ocean Shores in September of 2016. I have two adult children, my son is a retired army colonel and West Point graduate, My daughter is an educator for Delta Airlines. In addition, I have three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
