Personal

My husband Richard and I have been full-time residents since 2015 and property owners since 2010.  Our 5 years as part-time vacationers solidified our choice of Ocean Shores for our retirement. City services were a high priority for us, along with our beautiful beach and amenities.

Work Experience

Worked for the King County Library System 1992-2015.  Positions included:  Director of Information Technology and then Director of Public Services.  Responsibilities over the years included north region of 20 libraries; facility planning, intergovernmental relations, and technology implementation; and lastly oversight of department services to children, teens, adults, seniors, diversity, outreach, online services, and systems integration. Held previous administrative positions at Lincoln Library, (Illinois), Online Computer Library Center (Ohio), Columbus Metropolitan Library (Ohio), Chicago Public Library (Illinois).

Other Information

My entire career has been in public service.  I understand what it means to be fiscally responsible to taxpayers and voters. I wish to serve Ocean Shores by listening to and representing all our residents. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
