RV Permitting Process
The
Ocean Shores Police Department is responsible for enforcement of
our RV Ordinance. Non-resident property owners may set up to two
(2) RV's on their undeveloped lot for a maximum of ninety days per
calendar year. A Permit must be obtained at the Ocean Shores Police
Department either by obtaining the permit from one of our records
clerks when the business office is open or by filling out an RV
Permit Application at the front door and depositing it in the drop
box. You will need to return to the Department to pick up your permit
on the following business day.
The permit process assists the department
with monitoring conformance with the ninety day rule as well as
assuring the person or persons on a lot are supposed to be there.
Tent
camping is only allowed in conjunction with a self contained RV.
RV's
must be self contained or hooked to an approved sanitary system.
