Fire Department Recognition

At the Regular City Council meeting held on April 23, 2024, the Ocean Shores Fire Chief, Brian Ritter, took the opportunity to recognize and commend several individuals for their bravery, dedication, and exceptional service in answering the call. These individuals demonstrated their commitment to saving lives and ensuring the safety of the community in a variety of situations.

On November 29th, 2023, a particularly challenging and high-stress situation unfolded, where the life of a 25-week-old premature birth patient was in immediate danger. The following members of the Ocean Shores Fire Department played a vital role in saving the life of this fragile infant:
