    2014 Hydrant Flushing

  • The City of Ocean Shores Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants in the North East area of the City November 17th through December 31st. The areas where the City will be working are between Albatross St and Ocean Lake Way, Chance A La Mer and Albatross St, Rain St and Albatross St, Magellan Ave and Chance A La Mer, and Pacific Blvd to Ocean Lake Way. The flushing may stir up sediment in the water lines surrounding the work areas. We recommend that you do not use hot water during business hours on the days referenced on the map. If you experience some discoloration of your water, please run the COLD water tap for a few minutes until it clears. For questions, comments, and to file complaints please contact the Water Department at 289-4210.
